BabySwap, Inc. was founded by Scott and Laura...parents, just like you!  They had baby Emma Grace on September 29, 2005, who provided the inspiration for BabySwap!  The only website where you can buy, sell or "swap" maternity and used baby goods, baby related services and useful baby information! 

The idea for BabySwap originated in the Spring of 2005 when Scott and Laura were in a local baby store looking for new baby items and ran into another new parent who expressed her frustration at purchasing "the perfect baby swing"  that her newborn didn't like and wouldn't use.  "I can't return it now" she exclaimed!  And then it hit them...what if they had the "perfect" swing that their newborn didn't like?  What would they do?  Wouldn't it be great if they could find someone who might want to trade swings?  Alternatively, wouldn't it be nice to have a place where parents could go to sell their "not so used" baby goods?  At that moment,  BabySwap was born....along with Baby Emma a few months later!

The BabySwap concept has grown into more than just a venue to sell and swap used baby goods.  Scott and Laura realized that as new parents, they needed help!  Help from other parents and help from professionals who provide baby services.  However, they soon realized that there was no one place to find all of the goods, services and information they needed.  So, BabySwap includes a place to find useful baby services simply by searching by city, state or zip code  as well as an on-line forum where parents can chat about baby-related topics!

BabySwap, Inc. is committed to serving all persons and businesses who list on our site!  Therefore, BabySwap does not contain any banner ads!   We believe banners may divert attention from  those businesses who have chosen (and paid) to list their service in the Swap Services section of our site and, quite frankly, we just don't like them! 

Additionally, we are also committed to assisting small business owners out there who are trying to make a go of it while potentially taking care of their homes and children.  So, we have set our prices for listing service on BabySwap to fit even the most modest of budgets!
